Mercedes Vito Camper (Surf Van) Conversion

The Mercedes Vito (mk1 or mk2) is a nice vehicle to convert into a camper van or surf/day van. Although not as popular as the VW Transporter, it still shares many of the VWs benefits. These are a size which makes the camper practical to use as an everyday vehicle, combined with an almost car-like driving experience. The mk2 vito also comes with more body options such as long wheelbase (LWB) and a high roof, giving even more interior space.

The standard Vito side conversion consists of a pull out seat/bed (rock and roll bed), wardrobe and kitchen unit.  All our furniture is made from lightweight plywood (such as vohringer or similar) and uses Reimo trim to give a professional finish.

Our furniture can be generally purchased in two ways, the first being supply only, where the kit comes 'flat packed' ready for you to fit yourself, allowing you to build a professional looking self build camper van. The other option is for us to supply and fit the furniture. We can also supply a range of appliances such as glass lid sink / hob (cramer or smev), 12v fridge.
